Yet, I'm still fascinated with how many people (maybe only 3% have set goals) go into a season with absolutely no game plan for success. Well, I always thought, "If I keep-a-preachin', maybe a few will quit-a reachin' for the rainbow". Believe me, they don't! Many people are looking for quick hits or easy short cuts to success. They don't exist! In reading these commandments for the first time, stop, take notice, think back. How many times could you have saved money by following these guidelines?

You must have full knowledge of the game you are attempting to beat, along with access to winning information. Personal GOALS should always influence play.

Know that LOCK or CINCH games DON'T EXIST. There are no such animals in this business. Of course you will here about them from the shady side of this business, but, trust me there are no locks or cinches in this business. There are games -- thanks to a combination of positive handicapping factors -- that give players a higher probability of winning that become a stronger play. Don't blow your wad (bankroll) in one night. Remember, they play the Star Spangled Banner every day, but if you are tapped out, there is no tomorrow. Stay loose. Mental toughness is mandatory to be successful in any business. Set goals and celebrate when you attain them. After a winning season, donate some of those winnings to a worthy cause. It makes you feel better as a person. Sports betting is a grind, and only a very select few sustain any type of positive winning momentum.
