Thank Goodness for LOSERS, For what would the 10% who are WINNERS do without them.

We ask, How come? If it wasn't for all those losers, how could there be any WINNERS? What ingredient or ingredients make up the vast many losers good for the sports betting industry? Why don't losers cross that "Fine Line" so to speak, between being a loser and becoming a winner? Let's see if we can't attack some of the loser's problems and come up with solutions to help them in their quest to become winners.

The following is a list of what separates Winners from Losers. In developing your own handicapping arsenal make sure you have all of the following if you want to become a Winner.

How many have these attributes or traits working for them?

The people that do are Winners, you can bank on it! The most important of the Ten listed. GOALS. Decide how much money you plan on winning this season. In short, set a definite goal and design the game plan on how to achieve it. HAVE YOU EVER DONE THAT? It's amazing but 95%+ of all sports betting losers never use any financial planning nor set any desired plateaus of achievement.

Most sports bettors and handicappers never think that sports betting is actually a business proposition. One dictionary describes business as a situation in which time, effort and money are spent in the anticipation and expectation of making a profit!

We certainly should spend Time, Effort and Money with the definite expectation of making profit in sports wagering. This is the attitude we certainly should adopt but, unfortunately, most sports players never think that sports betting is just that -- a Business. No matter what level of wagering. Sports Wagering is a Business, Pure and Simple. There are Winners and Losers.

Let's put one thing to rest immediately. Without Losers it would be impossible for any Winners to exist in the first place. Each season begins with eternal optimists thinking that this is their year, They are going to kick some Butt. Sports Betting has a parallel to warfare. You can lose several individual battles but still win the War. The direct correlation to Losers is it doesn't matter if it's early into the season or late down the stretch. The losers main problem, it's only a matter of time before the Loser busts out (Yes, I mean Broke) and is history.

Realistically, Winners bask at the screw-ups and miseries of Losers, and since Winners become progressively stronger by virtue of the power of Winning, more and more Losers bust out, necessitating a constant replacement and replenishment of their numbers. Thank Goodness... We Winners should never run out of Losers.

These types of sports gamblers will always be a loser in the long run. Let's try and attempt to identify the loser mentality. The sports loser's lack of emotional or self-control and discipline dooms him from the very beginning. He can't survive at all, in short, it becomes eventual, TAP CITY.

The Loser has no patience or consistency in what he does and never makes the commitment to change his attitude, the people who are Losers, whether it be in gambling, business, investing, a job,or any other activities that make up the daily life always find a way to rumble, bumble, and eventually stumble. They have no dedication, always fail to follow through, neglect details, lack self-confidence, feel generally insecure, have low self -esteem and usually rely on someone else and prefer the ease of failing over the responsibility of being an leader, and they look for every opportunity to make an excuse for their failure.

The few professional sports players (investors) are total opposites of the "Gambler". These few Winners that make up the gambling industry at large or the sports wagering industry as part of the overall picture, sustain themselves on the weaknesses of the high percentage of losers. They patiently await their opportunity to make sound, intelligent, wagers based on logical conclusions and reliable selectivity of games. The "Winner" very astutely collects his facts, figures, uses various methods, systems, situations, and understands the value of certain numbers. This person uses many other attributes of a successful player and then only makes his select moves when he has a reasonable certainly that he positively has something working in his behalf. VALUE working for him in making his selections or plays.

There are many more losers than winners in the gambling society and most of these gamble with reckless abandon, a true formula for losing.

Most sports losers have a predetermined level of loss rather than an expectation of WIN. Another way to shed some light on the loser personality is by noting some interpretations of the winner personality.

A WINNER IS A PERSON WHO CANNOT ACCEPT DEFEAT. The winner has the burning desire that continues to rise and come back until their supposed negative thoughts are overshadowed by his positive characteristics. The winner understands the value of commitment and discipline. He knows nothing is free and that no one will give him something unless he produces. A winner doesn't know how to lose, just as a loser doesn't know how to win. The loser is heavy into greed and has a lackadaisical attitude,while the winner has patience and the money management program to fit his needs and allow him to attain his goals.

In closing, you must continue to work on a daily basis in this business if you want stay a step ahead and be more sophisticated towards your philosophy of sports betting, because without losers there would be no games in life, no leaders, no organizations, no governments (that might not be to bad), no corporations, no colleges, etc. For us sports analysts/handicappers there would be no action or challenge. Thank goodness for losers, because we ten percenters can't exist without them.
